Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
400 guests from all over the world came to experience our 3 day decadent Birthday party based on ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ‘ (after the 2005 movie).
Guests were welcomed on the first evening at the client’s private estate. A large marquee beautifully decorated in the theme colours stood majestically in the estate parkland, where guests were greeted with drinks and a chance to mingle and get to know one another, also a great opportunity for old friends to reunite. Dinner was served from 4 food courts, giving the guests plenty of catering options to suit their palette. A sleek moody bar with cosy seating area and dance hall ensured a perfect setting to get the party weekend started.
The next morning started with games in the estate parkland, where guests were divided into 20 separate teams to experience life in the Chocolate Factory. All guests took part in 14 stations set up around the estate, showing their capabilities as a factory worker whilst under the observation of the factory leader Mr. Spiegelberg. Stations included activities such as Jelly Belly blind tasting, build your own Oompa Loompa boat, making lollypops, learning the Oompa Loompa dance and much more. Lunch was served in picnic boxes and could be brought along during the activities or enjoyed as a break. After a little rest in the afternoon guests were driven to a new location – to finally see the real Chocolate Factory.
After a welcome reception in the courtyard of the factory, Mr Willy Wonka himself welcomed all the guests and allowed them to stay one night in his factory. A two course dinner was served in 6 themed dining rooms; Invention Room, Nut Sorting Room, Loompaland, Charlie´s House, The Whipped Cream Room and Chocolate World. After dinner a show in the courtyard by Mr Willy Wonka really set the tone for the continuing party. An acrobatic show, spectacular fireworks display and flashmob dance from the Oompa Loompas, had everyone in the party spirit. Guests were gently ushered back into the factory by the Oompa Loompas, to an altered Chocolate Factory, to enjoy the rest of the evening. Where there was once dinner tables, now stood a dance hall in the Chocolate World with a real chocolate waterfall and fondue fruit, a candy room full with jars of sweets and coffee and tea set up in the Loompaland room.
After an enjoyable evening, or for some straight from the party, we ended the weekend with a brunch at the private estate before the great send off of all our guests. Shuttle coaches were ready to transport the guests back to the airport for their journeys home.
